The Fever trees of Pafuri have a serene quality which presented the perfect opportunity to experiment with a variety of photographic and artistic techniques. Sourcing paper with a texture emulating the embrace emanating from the trees, I further experimented with gold leaf overlays to enhance the slanted sun rays and late afternoon radiance while increasing the depth and mystery of the forest. How many lives had walked its paths? How would it survive in an ever encroaching world?
